Mineral:Goethite pseudomorph after Pyrite
Locality:Breckenridge, Summit County, Colorado
Description:Cluster of well defined goethite pseudomorphs after pyrite crystals up to 20 mm. On the bottom, where it was attached to surrounding rock, bright pyrite is visible where the crystal is unaltered. Surface striations distinctly visible.
Overall Size:28x25x25 mm
Crystals:8-20 mm
