Locality:Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada
Description:Plate of amethyst quartz crystals up to 25 mm with greenish coating of chlorite on some crystals and inclusions of 1 mm hematite crystals scattered throughout. Old specimen collected ca. 1895. Ex. Westtown School (West Chester, Pa.) Collection no. 6049, donated by Walter M. and Alfred B. Jones (1843-?).
