Mineral:Quartz on Sphalerite
Locality:Cavnic Mine (Kapnikbanya), Maramures, Romania
Description:Black sphalerite matrix completely covered with transparent, gray quartz crystals. The quartz crystals are scepter shaped (large caps on thinner stems) but the crystals are so densely spaced that the scepters are not visible.
Overall Size:10x8x6 cm
Crystals:5-20 mm
