Locality:Garnet Hill, 7.5 km WNW of Ely, White Pine County, Nevada
Description:Superb (for the locality) almandine garnet crystal on rhyolite matrix. The crystal is complete, undamaged, and beautifully exposed on matrix. One of the best specimens I have EVER had from this prolific locality (often misidentified as spessartine).
