Mineral:Fluorite with Asphalt coating
Locality:Rosiclare District, Hardin County, Illinois
Description:Very aesthetic specimen of purple fluorite crystals coated with small (.5 mm) spheres of black asphalt (natural oil). The fluorite color shows through in about 50% of the surface. Very showy. Ex. Robert C. Linck (1905-1970)
