Mineral:Aragonite and Calcite
Locality:Sonora, Mexico
Description:Dense mixture of scalenohedral calcite crystals and pristine white aragonite. This specimen dates to 1909 and sadly the exact locality was lost, typical of the time when dealers obscured their sources to prevent competition from obtaining similar pieces. Ex. Robert C. Linck (1905-1970); Ex. Robert B. Gage (1875-1946)
