Description: | Large crystals of cinnamon-colored grossular garnet crystals. The largest crystal is 4 cm across - quite large for this famous locality. The grossular grew in layers, alternating with calcite. Parts of the top layer has chipped off revealing the next. Ex. Robert C. Linck (1905-1970) |
