Description: | Smoky quartz crystal with a dark internal phantom. Before the last layer of quartz grew, tan-colored cookeite was deposited on the earlier crystal, then captured in the late growth. Easily visible. Minor chips on the rear termination. Ex. Robert C. Linck (1905-1970) |
