Description:Rare matrix specimen of a Herkimer Diamond (doubly-terminated quartz crystal) nestled in a small pocket not much larger than the crystal. Normally the crystals pop off matrix during collection - this one shows the natural formation. Ex. Robert C. Linck (1905-1970)
