Mineral:Grossular Garnet
Locality:Sandare, Niaro du Sahal, Mali
Description:Single crystal of brown grossular garnet without matrix. Fully crystallized all around, except where it was attached to matrix on the bottom. The edges show wear due to alluvial stream action, but the faces are clean and lustrous.
