Locality:Pachapaqui District, Bolognesi Province, Ancash Department, Peru
Description:Hemispherical cluster of scalenohedral, white calcite crystals up to 15 mm long, frequently misidentified as Manganocalcite (an invalid mineral species), overgrown on colorless quartz crystals up to 6 mm long. The calcite grew in successive layers.
