Mineral:Fluorite on Sphalerite
Locality:Elmwood Mine, Carthage, Smith County, Tennessee
Description:Plate of lustrous brown-black sphalerite crystals up to 12 mm with transparent, purple crystals of fluorite up to 20 mm overgrown on top. No damage. This mine is now closed - specimens from here are destined to become sought after classics.
