Locality:Shigar Valley, Skardu District, Baltistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan
Description:Translucent ruby-red spessartine garnet crystals covering one face of albite matrix. When illuminated from the side the red color is quite dramatic. Internally the crystals are exceptionally translucent. One crystal has a minute chip.
Overall Size:8x5x3 cm
Crystals:1-9 mm
