Locality: | Rowley Mine, 20 km northwest of Theba, Painted Rock Mountains, Maricopa County, Arizona |
Description: | Exceptionally large crystals of transparent, orange wulfenite (up to 14 mm!) on barite matrix, with scattered 1 mm mimetite crystals overgrown on the wulfenite. One area has incomplete crystals, but the unusually large wulfenite crystals are noteworthy. |
