Mineral:Beryl var. Emerald in Quartz
Locality:Carnaiba District, Bahia, Brazil
Description:Dark green crystal of emerald frozen in milky quartz matrix. The crystal has three sides and the termination exposed and a smaller diameter crystal appears to growing out the top of the main crystal. The matrix contains minor biotite and molybdenite.
Overall Size:5x5x4.5 cm
Crystals:6-16 mm
