Mineral:Calcite on Malachite
Locality:Tsumeb Mine, Otavi-Bergland District, Oshikoto, Namibia
Description:White calcite crystals up to 6 mm on matrix coated with velvety, green malachite. The calcite fluoresces orange under UV illumination. The contrast of the two minerals is very attractive.
