Mineral:Malachite over Cuprite with Calcite
Locality:Tsumeb Mine, Otavi-Bergland District, Oshikoto, Namibia
Description:Heavy cluster of cuprite completely coated with green malachite crystals in rounded rosettes. White-gray calcite (fluoresces orange under UV illumination) are scattered throughout. The cuprite is visible in one area where the core is exposed. Ex. A. Balhao collection (Kombat, Namibia)
