Locality:Tafelkop, Goboboseb Mountains, 27 km west of Brandberg Mountain, Erongo region, Namibia
Description:Large purple crystal of amethyst quartz, with dark internal phantom zones of intense purple. Purchased from Marshall Sussman in 2003 (part of the collection he showed in Tucson 2004). The tip has a minute nick, barely visible.
