Description:Di-pyramidal, smoky quartz crystals up to 15 mm on dark-metallic, bladed hematite crystals up to 3 mm. The di-pyramidal quartz is often frequently mislabeled as Beta-quartz. Sensel acquired the specimen in 1941 from Schortmanns. Ex. Dr. Eugene E. Sensel (1911-2000) collection #B373; Ex. Schortmanns
