Mineral:Fluorite on Quartz
Locality:Huallapon Mine, Pasto Bueno District, Ancash Department, Peru
Description:Elongated crystals of colorless quartz up to 4 cm long with blue-green fluorite crystals up to 5 mm nestled between the quartz crystals. A few quartz crystals are incomplete. The fluorite fluoresces under UV illumination. Ex. Dr. Eugene E. Sensel (1911-2000) collection #BL829
