Mineral:Diamond (1.25 carat macle, twinned crystal)
Locality:Northern Cape Province, South Africa
Description:Triangular crystal of sherry-colored, natural diamond. The triangular shape is due to twinning on a plane parallel to the octahedral faces (Spinel-law twin). The surface are smooth with many faces showing the twin planes on the outer edges.
Overall Size:7x6x3.5 mm
