Description: | Well formed cast of pale lilac-purple quartz that crystallized in a cavity surrounded by fans of anhydrite crystals up to 6 cm long. The anhydrite dissolved away leaving fan-shaped impressions in the surface. One end shows amethyst core crystals. Ex. Walter Kuenstler collection #1446 |
