Mineral:Fluorite on Barite
Locality:Central Kentucky Fluorspar District, Danville, Boyle County, Kentucky
Description:Rounded knob of white barite crystals up to 5 mm with partial overgrowth of translucent, purple fluorite crystals up to 7 mm across. For more information, see: pg. 110 of Rocks and Minerals M/J 1981. Fluoresces white under UV illumination.
