Mineral:Azurite on Quartz
Locality:Zacatecas, Mexico
Description:Vuggy matrix of milky quartz with clusters of contrasting, dark blue azurite crystals in the cavities. Under magnification the azurite is seen as lustrous, translucent crystals surrounded be small spherules of a white mineral.
Overall Size:6x4x2.5 cm.
Crystals:1-3 mm.
