Locality:Cinque Quarry, East Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut
Description:Sparkling cluster of 1-2 mm smoky quartz crystals with overgrowth of colorless calcite crystals up to 10 mm. Scattered throughout is dark hematite and brown goethite microcrystals (not dirt) that look beautiful under magnification. Minor damage. Collected in 1985
