Mineral:Hydroxyapophyllite-(K) (formerly apophyllite-(KOH))
Locality:Fauquier County, Virginia
Description:Thin crystals of colorless apophyllite crystals on green prehnite matrix. The crystals are octagonal with beveled edges. Most crystals are undamaged, but several towards the bottom are incomplete. Very large crystals for the locality.
