Mineral:Quartz Geode with Calcite
Locality:Iowa
Description:Half of a hollow geode lined with light gray quartz chalcedony. Overgrown on the chalcedony are lustrous crystals clusters of colorless calcite. Fluoresces green under UV illumination. Most likely from the Keokuk geode beds.
Overall Size:6x5x3 cm
Crystals:3-5 mm
