Description: | Unusual curved crystals of the bi-colored pink-to-green elbaite tourmaline, with thin hair-like elbaite crystals on the rear side. The elbaite tourmaline crystals formed straight, then broke and healed repeatedly resulting in 30° curvature. Ex. Phillip Greybill (1935-2018) collection; collected ca. 1980 |
