Description: | Translucent red crystals of realgar on gray matrix with minor pyrite. Several good crystals distinctly visible. From the old locality that was mined during the 12th and 13th centuries for paint pigments and medicinal minerals (mining ended in 1913). Ex. A. Lincoln Sherk II, MD. (1896-1970) |
