Description: | Elongated plate of milky quartz crystals up to 3 mm with scattered overgrowth of transparent, colorless calcite crystals up to 15 mm. The quartz has a pale purple amethystine color. The calcite fluoresces dim red under UV illumination. Ex. A. Lincoln Sherk II, MD. (1896-1970) |
