Description: | Several crystals of black augite, variety Jeffersonite in white calcite matrix. The largest crystal is well exposed. The bottom of the specimen is sawn flat. With old pen-and-ink label dating to ca. 1880, most likely from Reuben Haines collection. Ex. Stuart F. Wise collection |
