Description: | Single crystal of translucent brown sphalerite. The face of the crystal has a dull luster, but shows crystal patterns. The rear cleavage faces are lustrous and show the internal translucency. A rare mineral for this famous mine. Ex. A. Lincoln Sherk II, MD. (1896-1970); collected Oct. 17, 1915 |
