Locality:Oreland, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania
Description:Heavy mass of dark brown goethite with bubble-shaped cavities on the surfaces. Old specimen from an old locality first worked in the 1700s. Mislabeled as psilomelane, this is definitely goethite. Ex. A. Lincoln Sherk II, MD. (1896-1970); collected Dec. 14, 1913
