Locality:Sussex County, New Jersey
Description:Octahedral crystal of black spinel 18 mm across perched on the edge of as book of phlogopite mica crystals up to 4 cm with old pen-and-ink label attached to the bottom. The spinel crystal is complete and undamaged. Ex. A. Lincoln Sherk II, MD. (1896-1970)
