Description: | Unusual crystal of cubic galena with secondary overgrowth of octahedral crystals of galena on the faces. The secondary growth is epitaxially oriented to the underlying cubic crystal, resulting in parallel growth. Minor chalcopyrite, sphalerite. Ex. A. Lincoln Sherk II, MD. (1896-1970) |
