Description: | Rhombic crystals of golden calcite on basalt matrix. An area near the margin is missing a crystal. This is the first calcite specimen I have ever had from Nova Scotia that is better known for zeolite minerals. Collected ca. 1890. Ex. A. Lincoln Sherk II, MD. (1896-1970) |
