Locality: | Tri-State Lead-Zinc Mining District, near Joplin, Jasper County, Missouri |
Description: | Single crystal of translucent red-brown sphalerite with many parallel faces. The surface of the sphalerite has many brassy chalcopyrite crystals up to 2 mm in epitaxial orientation to the underlying sphalerite. |
