Mineral:Quartz with Dolomite and Chalcopyrite
Locality:Cavnic Mine (Kapnikbanya), Maramures, Romania
Description:Large plate of transparent, colorless quartz crystals up to 20 mm long. Overgrown on selected faces of the quartz are brown dolomite crystals up to 1 mm. Scattered throughout are dark, metallic chalcopyrite crystals up to 10 mm. Very showy.
