Mineral:Fluorite on Albite
Locality:Old Mine Plaza construction site, Mine Hill, Trumbull, Fairfield County, Connecticut
Description:Octahedral crystals of greenish, transparent fluorite up to 6 mm on matrix covered with .6 mm white albite crystals. The fluorite is internally very clean and well crystallized. Fluoresces dimly under UV illumination. Rear is incomplete.
