Description: | Doubly-terminated crystal of black augite. The label indicates it was obtained from Dr. Egee and has Leiper's Q. crossed out and Moore's Station written in. It is possible Egee was confused about the origin of the crystal and corrected it. Ex. A. Lincoln Sherk II, MD. (1896-1970); collected March 15, 1914 |
