Locality:Green's Farm, 750 m. ESE of Roxbury Falls, Roxbury, New Haven County, Connecticut
Description:Two crystals of red-brown almandine garnet in silvery schist matrix with smaller staurolite crystals mixed in. The almandine crystals are dodecahedral form and have many minute, parallel faces. Scattered imperfections. Locality closed to collecting in 2012. Collected ca. 1992
