Mineral:Fluorite with Sphalerite
Locality:Cave-in-Rock District, Hardin County, Illinois
Description:Compound crystals of purple fluorite with overgrowth of dark red-brown sphalerite crystals. The fluorite crystals are cubic form with surfaces composed of many smaller, parallel crystal faces. Crystallized front and rear. One corner is cleaved.
