Mineral:Chalcopyrite on Sphalerite with Quartz
Locality:Krushev Dol Mine, Davidkovo, Rhodope Mountains, Bulgaria
Description:Sparkling yellow-metallic chalcopyrite microcrystals overgrown of translucent crystals of sphalerite up to 15. The sphalerite is on a complex cluster of milky quartz crystals up to 15 mm. A few minute edge nicks are visible under magnification.
