Mineral:Calcite (fluorescent and phosphorescent)
Locality:near Lampasas, Burnet County, Texas
Description:Rhomb of pink-to-white calcite that fluoresces strongly under UV illumination, and continues to phosphoresce in the dark. The locality is actually in Burnet County, but Lampasas is the nearest town and is generally given as the locality. Ex. Clyde Hardin
