Description: | Large specimen of acicular white artinite crystals to 5 mm completely covering one face of green serpentine found during sewer line construction on Spring Street in Staten Island. The artinite fluoresces under white under UV illumination. Ex. Floyd Faux collection. Collected ca. 1972.
