Locality:Strickland Quarry, Collins Hill, Portland, Middlesex County, Connecticut
Description:Flattened green crystals of elbaite tourmaline in thin muscovite mica layer on white albite matrix. The elbaite crystals are translucent and complete. The Strickland Quarry is closed and now covered with a golf course.
