Description: | Excellent cluster of translucent witherite crystals with minor white strontianite. The witherite is in complex hexagonal crystals and fluoresces bright blue-white under UV illumination. The largest crystal contacted the pocket wall on the top surface. Ex. Dr. Eugene E. Sensel (1911-2000) collection #G641, acquired in 1968 |
