Description: | Lustrous yellow-metallic pyrite crystals to 3 mm and translucent brown bladed stilbite crystals in fan-shaped aggregates to 18 mm across in a calcite-filled vein running through gray schist. The calcite was dissolved to expose the pyrite and stilbite. Personally collected in 1999 during reconstruction of the Charles A. Dana Discovery Center |
