Description: | Thin slab of petrified walnut wood with one face polished. The original wood was replaced molecule by molecule with quartz chalcedony. The slab broke and was glued (not at the visible crack line, but at a less visible area). Note the grain pattern. Ex. C.P. Maier; originally acquired in 1977 |
