Locality:Yakima Basalt Formation, Washington
Description:Large limb of petrified white cedar wood with one face slabbed and polished. The original wood was replaced molecule by molecule with quartz chalcedony. Note the grain pattern (plain sawn, not end sawn). Ex. C.P. Maier; originally acquired in 1977
